Allianz – Paul McGinley

Paul McGinley is one of the most successful Irish golfers of his time and has become an inspiration to many of the young Irish golfing generation today. One of his greatest achievements is holing the winning putt for the European team in the 2002 Ryder Cup. His best finish on the European Tour Order of Merit is third in 2005 and he played in each of the last three Ryder Cup triumphs, making him the first European golfer to be a winner in everyone of his first three appearances.

Allianz has been a key supporter of Paul since 2002.

Irish Independent Executive Golf

The Allianz Irish Independent Executive Golf Trophy is an annual golf competition held between officials of selected golf clubs throughout Ireland. The competition, which runs from May through to August, is played on some of Ireland’s most prestigious courses including the world-renowned Palmer Course at the K-Club. The event is designed to offer club officers a social outlet away from the cares of office and to play against each other in a competition that enjoys national exposure. 

Allianz is delighted to support the Irish golfing industry through its patronage of the Allianz Irish Independent Executive Golf Trophy since 2007. 

Allianz – Irish Times Golf Masters

The Allianz Irish Times GolfMasters competition is Ireland's leading annual fantasy golf competition. Enjoyed by young and not so young alike, it appears weekly in the Irish Times, with the knowledge and luck of those involved published for all to see. The competition builds to a thrilling climax in October when the winner receives a generous €20,000 prize.

Allianz has been proud to support this fun competition over many years and sees it as an excellent extension of its commitment to golf.

Allianz – St. Andrews Links

St. Andrews Links, known to many in the golfing world as the “Home of Golf”, is the oldest course in the world, dating back to 1400AD. There are 7 public courses in total including the Old Course, which is widely considered the most famous golf course in the world.
