National Fleet Database

On June 1st rollout of the National Fleet Database (NFD) will commence. This database has been developed by the insurance industry following the Road Traffic Act 2009 which requires that details of all insured motor vehicles will be made available, within 5 working days, to the Minister for Transport, the Garda Siochana and the Motor Insurers’ Bureau of Ireland.

Other covers -

1. Contingency for employee's vehicles.
2. Unlicensed drivers provided other terms of Certificate are observed.

6. Driving tuition for poor performing risks conducted by RSSL (Risk Management Subsidiary Company).

Summary of Cover

(i) Legal liability to other persons for personal injury and damage to property in certain defined circumstances.
(ii) In addition to (i) above, loss or damage to insured vehicle caused by fire/theft or attempted theft.
(iii) In addition to (i), (ii) above, repair to insured vehicle following accidental damage.

• Third Party Damage - €635,000 limit (Higher limits available)
• Passenger Liability - passengers seated on fixed or folding seats

Principal Exclusions

• Excess - ADF & T €315 increased to €625 for drivers under 26
• Drivers under 23 years or any driver holding a provisional license do not qualify for Comprehensive Cover
• Wear and tear, mechanical, electrical, electronic breakdown or failure contractual liability
• Underwheel damage
• Use for Hire and Reward
