Employers Liability Insurance

Summary of Cover

Employers may be liable at law to pay damages, expenses and legal costs for accidents to or diseases sustained by employees arising out of or in the course of their employment and are caused during the period of insurance.

Cover

• Limit of Indemnity €13,000,000 any one occurence. (Please ask if higher limits are required.)
• Indemnifies the Insured against liability at law for damages and legal costs.
• Indemnifies Principals for whom the Insured may be working in like manner to the Insured in respect of the Principal's liability arising from the performance of a contract.
• Pays all costs and expenses incurred with the Insurers written consent.
• Pays Solicitors fees incurred with the Insurers written consent.
• In the event of the death of the Insured indemnifies the Insured's personal representatives in the terms of the Policy in respect of liability incurred by the Insured.

 Principal Exclusions

• Offshore work
• Road Traffic Act exposure
• Endorsements as appropriate to occupation/rate
