Finance and Governance
Our Finance and Governance functions work closely with our commercial business areas to provide technical guidance and support in the areas of Risk, Capital and Financial Management, Compliance and Internal Audit.
Our Actuarial, Risk, Reserving and Capital Management teams are responsible for the maintenance and development of our Internal Model; ensuring we have adequate reserves to cover claims and operating costs, and also ensuring we are fully compliant with all relevant regulations such as Solvency II.
Finance have an in-house team of Financial, Tax and Investment Reporting Accountants, in addition to roles in Accounts Payable.
Compliance in Allianz Ireland ensure that we adhere to all relevant regulations in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, and also support our commercial teams for contract and vendor management review, data and consumer protection and also report to the relevant regulatory authorities such as the Central Bank of Ireland and the Financial Conduct Authority in the UK.
