As the general insurer of choice for the Catholic Church and Schools business in Ireland since 1902, Allianz is delighted to be in a position to support World Meeting of Families 2018 CLG through the provision of a comprehensive package of insurances. The World Meeting of the Families will not only be one of the biggest events in Ireland in 2018, but also across Europe and the wider world. It will involve hundreds of thousands of people across 3 sites over a 5 day period from the 21st to the 26th August 2018. The much anticipated attendance of his Holiness Pope Francis brings an added spiritual and international dimension to the event and will ensure the focus of Catholics throughout the world will be on Dublin during the World Meeting of Families 2018.
Obviously from an insurance perspective this brings with it many challenges to ensure the organizers can operate with the confidence that should some fortuitous event occur, they are in a position to address any issues arising. The range of covers required for an event of this magnitude range from standard Material Damage, Employers/Public Liability, Professional Indemnity/Directors & Officers to Cancellation of Event, Terrorism, Employment Practices and Motor Insurance. As a major global general Insurer, Allianz is uniquely positioned to provide the full range of covers required and so will be the Official General Insurer to the World Meeting of Families 2018.
Although significantly bigger than the 2012 International Eucharistic Congress, Allianz is in a position to draw on its experience as insurer for that very successful event and to put in place the very unique insurance arrangements for the World Meeting of Families 2018 event. Working in partnership with our friends in WMoF 2018 we are committed to providing them with a best in class insurance proposition; not just in terms of policy cover and value for money, but also in terms of risk management and claims service.
Allianz is proud to be associated with what we believe will be a world class spiritual and social event, not just for those in the Catholic community, but for all communities across Ireland and further afield. Allianz has a long and proud tradition of supporting people and communities across every community in all parts of Ireland and we look forward to playing our part as the official general insurer to this significant national and international event.
