Sinead Kane Aims for a Hat-trick of World Records

This coming Sunday, May 6th, our courageous Brand Ambassador, Sinead Kane, will be attempting her third Guinness World Record. This time, Sinead is determined to achieve the furthest distance run by a female on a treadmill in 24 hours and to smash the current record of 247.2km (just under 6 marathons back to back), which has stood for the last 14 years.

24 Hour Race - Finland

This weekend I go to Finland to do a 24hour race. Anything over a marathon distance is considered as an 'ultra' marathon. A marathon distance is 26.2miles or 42.2km.

In a 24 hour race the objective is to cover as much distance as possible within that time. I am thankful to Allianz Ireland who have yet again shown me encouragement and belief by sponsoring my participation in this race. Thank you guys. Your continuous support means so much.

Reflecting on an Incredible Achievement

Hey Everyone,

I’ve had a couple of weeks now to reflect and to try and settle back into normality. However, normality still hasn’t hit as in my local community in Youghal and in Cork city people are still coming up to me congratulating me on the achievement. Many people have asked me - how my recovery has been going and how are my feet. To be honest my legs recovered very quickly. I put this down to the Normatec recovery boots that I have been using.
