1. I don't like the fact you don't allow me to opt out of direct marketing via your web quote page. Instead you say something like - If you wish to opt out, please write to us at ... 2. Compared to other insurers Allianz seems to have less punitive premiums for Full EU licence holders compared to Full Irish licence holders. However per article 2 of the Directive 2006-126-EC of the European Parliament 20-12-2006 on driving licences, there should be no difference between an EU an an Irish licence

Very expensive quote and only for third party fire and theft cover. no accidents, penalty points etc., car year 2015, 1.6 engine Insurance companies are a pain to deal with and just cause their customer undue hardship of shopping around every year until you receive a reasonable quote. Nothing changes even when you get constructive feedback.

Great value when insurance in general is getting a bad name, Allianz have come out on top. Similar cover was over 300 euro more exspenive on renewal. This saved me over 30 percent

Your website is a disaster. Car insurance asks for distance in to work in miles, then asks how many KM's driven per year. If housewife or husband is selected, it should auto populate the occupation. small things but this makes your company look unprofessional. along with unrealistic quote, I wont be proceeding based on this

There were too many questions to obtain an indicative motor quote and because I did not have my wife's driver licence number I had to revise my work to eliminate her driving (and her minor scratch claim over past 5 years), with a view to revising the work later - it was a bit of a pain. Excellent price for car insurance, compared.. Some points. 1. That is a very long form to fill in. I nearly gave up halfway through. 2. I imported my car from the UK last Thursday but it took until today (Wednesday) for the online system to recognise it. Could this be improved. 3. When I couldn't register online, I phoned instead. I was told that they could not use the online reference number and had to provide all details again. Why. 4. The price over the phone was much more expensive. Why.

I was frustrated while Allianz was cheapest for my insurance again this year, the online quote was cheaper than my renewal notice. Even when I rang you direct, they couldn't match the web quote.Surely it can't be good business to have hassle of buying a new policy (for both of us) than having cheapest quote in the renewal and save the hassle.

Obtaining a quote took about seven attempts as it requires about half an hour each time and the information is is extensive. It would be helpful if you could save your page so that if you are interrupted you don't have to keep putting all the information in again.

Customer Service is very satisfactory.The Allianz advisor didn't delay in ringing me back relating a query on my existing car insurance quote. She also went through my policy carefully to try reduce my quote. I would have given Allianz five stars if i had received quotes like my previous 2 years as a customer. In 2016 my quote was ridiculously high giving the same information and level of cover as previous years, therefore,I rated 3 stars based on high expense and personal opinion of the quote.

Quoted a price on line which was changed unfairly after policy started. Customer service agent was rude, arrogant and unhelpful. Very disappointing.
Ok experience. Some of your full comp options don't make sense, most companies offer cover to drive other cars as part of the full comp package where you charge extra for this.
I cannot fault my experience, customer service was excellent I have since even taken my home insurance out with Allianz
Painful, none of your teams are able to talk with each other. I had a previous policy which nobody could act upon. the way i was treated was disgraceful. I complained and that was washed away also. I am considering bringing this to the regulator.

We had to actually ring road assistance service last week and I have nothing but good feedback. The person who took my call was really helpful and understanding and very efficient. The service car came in fairly quickly and they fixed the problem there and then so we were very happy.

Worst experience I've ever had with any insurance company. Was appalled at the lack of care and negligence shown by the company on many occasions and also the fact they didn't try anything to pursue me to stay when I told them of my decision to cancel my policy. Definitely will not be joining them in the near future. Very dissapointed.
The reps i was talking to were excellent, they were very informative. They know their buisness well they were also very friendly and lovely people to talk to.
I found all your staff very helpful and friendly during all my correspondence with them, they made everything as easy as possible. A lady called Rachel was particularly helpful. The only fault I could find was the waiting time on the phone but it was January when I was changing my policy.

I find Allianz a good insurance company to deal with. The staff on the phone are always polite and usually very helpful. However I did have a problem when I was changing my car from a Hackney back to private when they insisted on seeing the log book was changed before they would insure me. If I was providing false information the policy would have been void anyway.
I found Allianz through a broker and was with them for a year, but then on my renewal date I decided to go straight to Allianz them selfies. I liked their support and where always there to answer and of my quires. Thank you. Very happy customer

4 Stars but only just insured since Jan 16. Getting a quote was simple - most competitive rate I could get. Old car insurance company (for 11 years) could not match Allianz's quote (by e60). However, getting the insurance disc took a number of weeks. Letters back and forth requesting further information etc. All done through MyAllianz online. Grand if you are computer proficient. Can't complain about service really.
