€30 Tesco Customer FAQs

Do I have to pay anything? 

Your gift code covers up to the amount of €30 to spend at any Tesco store. The customer must pay the difference for any items over and above the €30 Tesco gift code with an alternative form of payment. 


Can I use the gift code more than once? 

Yes. Unused credit can be used for subsequent purchase. 


How can I check the balance of my gift code?

You can check an gift code balance in store at a Tesco till via the Tesco colleague scanning the barcode. This will display the current balance on the till screen. It will also show the balance on the till receipt. The balance can also be checked by calling 1800 555 955. 


What happens if my gift code expires? 

Unfortunately, the expiry conditions on your gift code is set to 60 days and cannot be extended. 


Can I use my gift code in store and online? 

This gift code can be used in store only. 


Can I use my gift code in any Tesco store?

This gift code can be used in any Tesco store in ROI. 


How do I use my gift code in store? 

After you have completed your shopping simply present your gift code barcode to the Tesco colleague at the till and they will scan the barcode for you. If you use a self-service till you can select the Gift Card payment option to redeem your gift code.


Can I donate or sell my gift code? 

No. Your gift code is specific to you and is identifiable by a unique code that cannot be transferred.
