€20 Gifty Credit Terms & Conditions

  1. This €20 Gifty credit Offer (the "Offer") is available to Allianz Direct customers who receive the offer email.
  2. You must be over 18 years of age to qualify for the offer and you must be a resident in the Republic of Ireland. Allianz p.l.c. reserves the right to request proof of identity, age, and address. In the event that you cannot provide us with proof of identity and age reasonably acceptable to us, we may withdraw the offer.
  3. The €20 Gifty credit will be issued to the main policy holder noted on the Allianz policy.
  4. The €20 Gifty credit will be emailed to the correspondence email address provided to Allianz on the active policy. There is no alternative method to receive the offer. 
  5. Only one €20 Gifty credit will be issued to each selected customer.
  6. Selected customers will receive an invitation to redeem their €20 Gifty credit via email. Please ensure to read your €20 Gifty credit email in full before redeeming.
  7. The Offer entitles the bearer to avail of one complimentary €20 Gifty credit which can be redeemed across multiple brands. Gifty Credit can be used by the recipient to claim Digital Gift Codes. The denominations available per Retail Partner will be clearly set out when reviewing participating Gifty Retailers . 
  8. Your €20 Gifty credit entitles you to €20 off (or part thereof) the value of your purchase. The customer must pay the difference for any items over and above the €20 Gifty credit with an alternative form of payment.
  9. Only one gift code may be used per transaction. 
  10. The customer has 90 days from receipt of the email to click the “GET YOUR GIFTY CREDIT” link in the body of the email and follow the instructions. The customer then has one year from redemption to use their Gifty credit across selected brands. After 90 days if the customer has not actioned these steps then the €20 Gifty credit will be forfeited. 
  11. Selected customers will obtain the €20 Gifty code credit offer through their respective online device (such as a phone, tablet etc.). 
  12. The customer will be prompted to use their €20 Gifty credit either online or selected retail stores.
  13. Each €20 Gifty credit is unique and is non-transferable. No substitutes or cash alternatives will be available..

  21. Neither Allianz, Gifty, nor WIN | WIN will be liable, either severally or jointly, or have any responsibility, for lost or stolen codes. 
  22. By availing of this Offer, you will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and you will be bound by any other requirements set out in any promotional material.
  23. There are certain things for which Allianz p.l.c. does not accept any liability to you. Allianz p.l.c. will not be responsible for and will have no liability in connection with acts, omissions, and occurrences beyond Allianz’s reasonable control, including but not limited to: a) any postponement or cancellation of the offer, b) any changes to the offer or the way in which they can be used c) damage loss, injury suffered by redeeming the offer d) problems with the allotment or dispatch of the offer and e) any act omission or default of any third party supplier. Allianz p.l.c. will not be liable for any damage, loss, or disappointment suffered by any person in redeeming the offer.   24. In the event of any dispute regarding the rules and all other matters relating to the offer, the decision of Allianz p.l.c. shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)

 

  • What is Gifty Credit?

- Gifty provides the opportunity for businesses to send recipients “Gifty Credit” set at different monetary values (€). As such, Gifty Credit is a generic currency that sits within the Gifty programme until set against participating Retailers – at which time the Gifty Credit is transferred into a Digital Gift Code for the selected Retailer. 

  • What do I do when I receive my Gifty link?

- You will receive your Gifty Credit via an e-mail sent by the business who has gifted you! Simply click on the link in your e-mail and you will be brought into the Gifty portal. Once in the Gifty portal, you simply follow the simple steps which will bring you through the redemption process. 

- Your Gifty Credit will be clearly highlighted on the left-hand side of your Navigation screen. 

- The Participating Retailers will also be clearly set out for you to review and select your preferred Retailer from which you would like to convert your Gifty credit into a Retail Gift Code.

  • How long do I have to select my preferred Gift Codes?

- Your Selection Window will be clearly set out within the e-mail you received with your Gifty link. The sending business controls the length of time you have to enter the Gifty site and select your preferred Gift Codes

  • How long do I have to use my selected Gift Codes?

- The expiry date of your selected Gift Codes will be clearly displayed on the virtual Gift Card.

  • What happens if I do not select my Gift Codes within the timelines set out – Selection Window and/or Gift Code Expiry?

- In this event, it is unfortunately not possible to re-issue your Gifty link and/or Digital Gift Code. You will forfeit the opportunity to use your Gifty.

  • How do I save my Gift Code(s) for future use?

- Once you have selected your preferred Gift Code(s), you are given 3 options within the platform in order to save your Gift Code(s)

1) View Gift Code (to use details immediately or “screen shot” to add to your photos)

2) Create PDF of Gift Code (and save to your device)

3) Print Gift Code

At any time during the “Selection Window”, you can also re-enter the Gifty platform via the link in your original e-mail and view your Wallet which will retain any Gift Codes you have generated previously.

  • I claimed my Gift Code(s) before the “Selection Window” deadline, but I’ve lost my original link/Gift Code – can you help?
