Allianz Young Driver Car Insurance Giveaway Terms & Conditions

 

  1. There will be one winner of the Allianz Young Driver Car Insurance giveaway on Her.ie & JOE.ie on site Competition ( referred to as the competition for the purpose of this document). The winner will receive €500 off young driver insurance at Allianz.
  2. Entry to the competition is gained by filling out the competition forms on Joe.ie or Her.ie with your full name, email, date of birth, contact number, address & T&C's as per competition form requirements by midnight on the closing date 08/09/2022.
  3. You must be between the ages of 18 - 30 years of age to enter, hold a valid driver’s licence and you must be a resident in the Republic of Ireland. Allianz p.l.c. reserves the right to request proof of a winner’s identity, age, and address. In the event that a prize winner cannot provide us with proof of identity and age reasonably acceptable to us, we may withdraw the prize and select another prize winner.
  4. Allianz p.l.c. reserves the right to draw an alternative winner in the event that we believe any winner has contravened these Terms and Conditions.
  5. Her.ie & JOE.ie will randomly select the winners from the entries that have entered by the closing date.
  6. The winners will be notified by Allianz p.l.c. by phone within 2 business days of the closing date 08/09/2022. If we cannot reach you on the number provided we will send you an email, you must respond to this email within 2 working days to accept your prize.
  7. If a winner does not respond to our notifications within 2 business days, then that winner will forfeit all rights and entitlement to the prize and another winner will be selected at random.
  8. To redeem the prize, the winner must agree to become an Allianz customer. The winner must obtain a quote and purchase an Allianz car insurance policy over the phone within 12 months of winning the prize. €500 will be deducted from the quoted premium at the time of purchase. This prize is not transferable against any other product or monetary value. The winner must pay the surplus of the insurance premium for the full 12 months or avail of our direct debit facility. 
  9. By entering the entrant grants Allianz p.l.c. the right to publish his/her first name in social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, email, and on Allianz plc website) to disclose the results of the August Her.ie & JOE.ie on site Competition including the winner's name for a maximum period of 14 months from date of entry.
  10. Any person entering the competition will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and all entries must be strictly in accordance with these terms and conditions. Any entry not in strict accordance with these terms and conditions will be deemed to be invalid and no prize will be awarded.
  11. Employees of Allianz p.l.c., their agents and members of their immediate families are not eligible to enter the free prize draw.
  12. Allianz’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  13. The winner may not transfer the prize to any other person.
  14. No alternative prizes are available and there is no cash equivalent.
  15. One entry per channel per person is permitted. Anyone found to be using multiple accounts to enter will be deemed ineligible to enter the free prize draw.
  16. In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, results and all other matters relating to the Competition , the decision of Allianz p.l.c. shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
  17. Allianz p.l.c. reserves the right to suspend or terminate the August Her.ie & JOE.ie on site Competition, or amend these terms and conditions at any time for any valid technical or commercial reason, without notification.
  18. This giveaway and these terms and conditions are governed by Irish Law. The sole promoter of the Competition  is Allianz p.l.c., which is registered in the Republic of Ireland. Registration No. 143108. Registered Office: Allianz House, Elm Park, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland.
  19. If the customer wishes to cancel this policy mid-term, they may do so based on the standard cancellation terms of the motor insurance product. However, the customer will not be refunded for the first €500 of the premium paid (to the value of the prize).
