From grass roots to inter-county, for 30 years Allianz have supported GAA

One of Ireland’s Oldest Sports Sponsorships

For 30 years, Allianz have proudly sponsored the Allianz Football and Hurling Leagues, making it one of Ireland’s longest running sports sponsorships. 

In 2020, we extended our partnership with the GAA and renewed our sponsorship of the leagues for a further five years to 2025. This makes us one of the GAA’s longest committed supporters with a working relationship spanning 33 years.   

Allianz’s passion for GAA and our desire to see the sport grow from generation to generation is the very catalyst for our sponsorship of both the Allianz Leagues as well as Allianz Cumann na mBunscol.

The Only League

To celebrate the 30-year anniversary of our sponsorship, we are launching a new creative campaign that will run across TV and digital throughout the Allianz Leagues season. The advert looks at how the competition has grown in stature and significance over the 30 years of our sponsorship to become the most fiercely contested competition in the GAA calendar beloved by players and supporters alike. 

Only the Leagues? Only the Allianz Leagues.
