Coming Home for Match Day

GAA Senior Football Championship Competition

Match day is about more than football. It’s about belonging. The colours, the conversations, the people you wish were standing beside you in the stands. 

This Senior Football Championship, Allianz is bringing supporters home to experience the biggest days for their county — together. 

Whether it’s a quarter‑final, semi‑final or championship final, we’re inviting you to nominate a friend or family member living abroad and give them the chance to come home for match day. 

Because being there together means everything.

The prize

Over the course of the Senior Football Championship, four winners will be selected and brought home to experience match day with their county team. 

Each prize includes: 

  • Economy return flights to Ireland 
  • Two GAA match tickets 
  • One night’s accommodation 
  • Airport transfers

How it works

To enter, all you need to do is share your GAA story. 

Create a short 30–60 second video telling us: 

  • What the GAA means to you or the person you’re nominating 
  • Your or their connection to the county 
  • What it would mean to come home for match day this championship season 

We’re looking for authentic stories from the heart — the moments and memories that make your nomination stand out.

Uploading your video

Once you complete the entry form above and click Upload Video, here’s what to expect: 

1. Request your upload link 

You’ll be asked for an email address. We’ll send you a secure FileXchange link to upload your video. 

2. Upload your video 

Use the link in the email to submit your 30–60 second video entry. 

3. Confirmation 

Once your video is uploaded successfully, you’ll receive an email confirming your entry. 

That’s it — you’re officially in the running.

Filming and content creation

As part of the prize experience, winners will be filmed and photographed throughout their Coming Home for Match Day journey — from life abroad, to travelling home, to match day itself. 

This filming is a core part of the experience and allows Allianz to tell the stories that make this campaign special. If a selected winner is unable or unwilling to take part in filming, they may decline the prize and an alternative winner may be selected.

Selecting winners

All entries will be reviewed by a judging panel. Winners will be selected based on the quality, authenticity and storytelling of their video submission. 

We want to understand why this matters to you, and why the person you’re nominating should be home supporting their county when it matters most.
