Accidental damage cover is an optional extra on a home insurance policy, including renters' insurance, which will protect you in the event of an accident.
With Allianz, you’ll automatically get cover for accidental damage to audio and audio-visual equipment up to €3,000*. This includes (but is not limited to) items such as a TV, sound bar, or surround sound stereo system, to name a few.
As an optional extra, you can add accidental damage cover for all your belongings with no limit*!

Accidental damage claims apply a standard excess of €250, meaning you pay the first €250, and we pay the rest up to the total of your contents insured. A higher excess may apply to escape of water and subsidence claims.
