Dare to Believe Giveaway

  1. There will be one winning school of the Dare to Believe giveaway. The winning school will receive a visit from an Olympian to their school in May 2025.  
  2. Entry to the Dare to Believe Giveaway is gained by clicking “enter now” in the email before midnight on Tuesday 6th May, accepting the T&C’s through the entry form and submitting your details  (a) school name (b) principal name (c) principal contact number (d) principal email (e) school location (f) school address including eircode (g) county (h) number of pupils  
  3. You must be over 18 years of age to enter on behalf of your school and you must be a resident in Ireland. 
  4. The  Dare to Believe giveaway is open to schools insured with Allianz located in the Republic of Ireland.  
  5. Allianz p.l.c. reserves the right to draw an alternative winner in the event that we believe any winner has contravened these Terms and Conditions. 
  6. No purchase is necessary. 
  7. Allianz p.l.c. will randomly select the winner from the entries that have entered by the closing date as per clause n. 2. 
  8. The initial winner will be notified by Allianz p.l.c. via email within 2 business days of the closing date of Tuesday 6th May.  If for any reason the initial winner cannot accept the prize we will contact an alternative winner. 
  9. The winner must then respond to the notifications as instructed by Allianz p.l.c. before Thursday 8th May at 12pm.  
  10. If the initial winner does not respond to our notifications before Thursday 8th May at 12pm, then the winner will forfeit all rights and entitlement to the prize and another winner will be selected at random. 
  11. If the winner shares positive feedback to Allianz about the giveaway, Allianz p.l.c., with the winners permission has the right to publish his/her feedback and first name in social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, email, and on Allianz p.l.c. website). 
  12. Any person entering the Dare to Believe giveaway understands that in order to fulfil the prize, their details will be shared with representatives from the Olympic Federation of Ireland.  
  13. Any person entering this giveaway are required to ensure the school’s liability insurance is up to date. 
  14. Allianz p.l.c reserves the right to media coverage of the Dare to Believe giveaway. Any coverage arising from the event will only be used if the appropriate permissions are obtained from any person who is featured in the coverage at the event.  
  15. Any person entering the Dare to Believe Giveaway will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and all entries must be strictly in accordance with these terms and conditions. Any entry not in strict accordance with these terms and conditions will be deemed to be invalid and no prize will be awarded. 
  16. Employees of Allianz p.l.c., their agents and members of their immediate families are not eligible to enter the giveaway. 
  17. Inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated at the Dare to Believe Olympic visit. Attendees who display inappropriate behaviour will be refused entry to the event.  
  18. The winner may not transfer the prize to any other person or school. 
  19. No alternative prizes are available and there is no cash equivalent. 
  20. One entry per person and per school is permitted. Anyone found to be using multiple accounts to enter will be deemed ineligible to enter the free prize draw. 
  21. There are certain things for which Allianz p.l.c. does not accept any liability to you. Allianz p.l.c. will not be responsible for and will have no liability in connection with acts, omissions, and occurrences beyond Allianz’s reasonable control, including but not limited to: a) any postponement or cancellation of the prize, b) any changes to prizes or the way in which they can be used c) damage loss, injury suffered by any entrant entering the giveaway at the event itself, or as a result of accepting any prize d) problems with the allotment or dispatch of prizes (such as prizes failing to reach the intended recipient)  e) any act omission or default of any third party supplier .  
  22. Allianz p.l.c. will not be liable for any damage, loss, or disappointment suffered by any person in entering the Dare to Believe Giveaway, including as a result of any entrant winning or not winning any prize. Allianz p.l.c. accepts no responsibility for entries lost, damaged, or delayed, due to an error in transit. Allianz does not accept responsibility for network, computer, hardware, or software failure of any kind, which may affect the sending, receipt or processing of your entry. 
  23. In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, results and all other matters relating to the Dare to Believe Giveaway, the decision of Allianz p.l.c. shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into. Allianz p.l.c will not be liable for any failure or delay that is due to any of the following causes (which causes are hereinafter referred to as “Force Majeure”), to the extent beyond its reasonable control: acts of God, accident, riots, war, terrorist act, epidemic, pandemic (including the Covid-19 pandemic), quarantine, civil commotion, breakdown of communication facilities, natural catastrophes, governmental acts or omissions, changes in laws or regulations, national strikes, fire, explosion, or generalized lack of availability of raw materials or energy. 
  24. Allianz p.l.c. reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Dare to Believe Giveaway, or amend these terms and conditions at any time for any valid technical or commercial reason, without notification.
