Yes. The Custodian School Protection Policy indemnifies the School in respect of their legal liability in connection with any work experience schemes organised by the School or in which they participate.

An indemnity will be provided to the employer with whom the pupil is placed, in respect of the legal liability of the school and pupil concerned. It is important to note that work experience involves work shadowing and the insurance cover in place reflects this.

If a pupil organises work experience outside of the Schools programme, this is not covered as it would be deemed a summer job and not organised or related to the School.
Yes, they are covered under the Custodian School Protection Policy, as they are deemed to be employees of the School for the time and duration of their work experience program.
