At Allianz, we are delighted to be the official global partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Movements. Our partnership will span eight years (2021-2028) to encompass four Games: Beijing 2022, Paris 2024, Milan-Cortina 2026 and Los Angeles 2028.

In Ireland, Allianz has supported Paralympics Ireland, the body responsible for preparing Irish athletes to compete at the Paralympic Games, since 2010. This makes us the longest standing supporter of para sport in Ireland, something we are extremely proud of.

“For over 14 years Allianz’ support of the Paralympic Movement both globally and locally has been a source of tremendous pride for all 700+ Allianz Ireland employees.” Sean McGrath, Chief Executive Officer of Allianz Ireland said. “Our new global role as “Worldwide Insurance Partner” of the Olympic & Paralympic Movements builds on our organisation’s rich history of supporting people and communities to unite through a shared love of sport.”

Since we announced the partnership in September 2018, the new Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Insurance Partner has engaged fans, athletes, teams and employees through health across a couple of markets. Includes Australia, China, France and Spain.

Speaking on the partnership, IOC President Thomas Bach said: “Having announced this new agreement in 2018, our teams have already been working together in key pilot markets to support athletes and the Olympic Movement. As we start this new Olympic year, we are excited to begin in earnest our global collaboration with Allianz.”

“Allianz brings global visibility to the athletes and values of the Paralympic Movement and we look forward to our next phase working together,” added IPC President Andrew Parsons.
