This activity hub aims to provide easily digestible, evidence-based information and activities for teachers and coaches (or anyone that’s working with young people). Our goal is to provide you with tools and activities that will help to retain your players in sports and #StopTheDrop.

Throughout the activities we use the terms ‘players’ and ‘coaches’, however, these activities are also suitable in a school setting. The target age group are players who are 10-14, but the activities can be adapted to suit any age range.

All activities are designed to support your players to explore new ideas, have fun and build resilience. Each activity focuses on one or more of the intersecting factors (biological, psychological and social) that can impact sports participation. Using this hub, we encourage you to work together with your players to understand and break down any barriers to participation they might experience.
